Assigning a Path to a Company

Edited

Awareness and Channel service training paths can be assigned in the “Manage company> Setup” section and select the specific service for which the path is to be assigned.

By clicking on the three vertical dots of a pathway (e.g., “Cyber School L1”) you can, by clicking on “Associate Pathway to Company,” associate it with the first level of the Cyber Guru Awareness training program.

When associating a path, you can choose different options (even simultaneously)

  • Instant release*: this option allows you to instantly unlock all the contents of a path for a company.

  • Certificates: this option enables the issuance of a participation certificate upon completion of the path. The certificate will be downloadable for users upon completion of the path.

  • Propaedeutic: this option allows you to establish a propaedeuticity criterion between contents. Accordingly, in order to access a content, one will have to complete the previous ones.

  • Is there a preliminary path? A preliminary path can be established that must be completed before the path being associated can be accessed. For details on preliminary path association, refer to the following article https://knowledgebase.cyberguru.eu/en/articles/2266690

NOTE: The “preliminary path” feature was introduced to handle situations in which later accessing users must first complete some core content before starting the standard path. In addition, it can be used to manage the transition between different training years. For example, if a company completes the first year of Awareness and needs to start the second, users can access the new path only after they have finished the first year's content. This is configured in the platform by activating the option “there is a preliminary pathway,” in which the first year is defined as preparatory to the second. Without this setting, there is a risk of parallel releases between the two years. In case of scheduled release, if the first year is not set as preliminary, the system will release the first and second year contents at the same time.

  • Synchronize with existing users: this function allows the route to be synchronized with all existing licensed users in the platform. This option can also be defined according to “Organizations.” You can then associate a route only with users who have the Organization value as specified.

If no ORGANIZATION is specified, the path will apply to all users.

*NOTE: One can release a path in instant mode with a propedeuticity criterion: this implies that the content will all be immediately available to users, but will still be constrained by the sequentiality criterion.
