Company States

Edited

Managing the states of Companies is a crucial aspect for the proper monitoring and administration of the platforms. Each state represents a phase in the life cycle of a Company and allows determining which activities are available to users and administrators. This article provides a detailed overview of the states and the transition flows of Companies, as well as the activation conditions that determine the transition from one state to another.

Overview of Company States

Companies can be in one of the following six states:

  • Setup

  • Go Live (In Release)

  • Running

  • Suspended

State: Setup

  • Start: The Company has been created.

  • End: The Company enters the "Setup" state when:

    • At least one Company Admin has been uploaded.

    • At least one Student has been created.

    • At least one license has been assigned for each role (Admin and Student).

Activation conditions:

  • All conditions must be met (AND), otherwise the Company remains in the "Setup" state.

State: Go Live (In Release)

  • Start: This state begins when the "Setup" state is completed.

  • End: The Company enters the "Go Live" state when:

    • A release date for the Channel or Awareness services has been set, or a phishing campaign has been approved (the first of these dates corresponds to the go live date).

    • The first content is available to users.

State: Running

  • Start: The "Running" state begins at the end of the "Go Live" or "Suspended" state.

  • End: The Company transitions to the "Suspended" state when it is suspended.

State: Suspended

In the Suspended company, Students can access the platform, view the cards of various training contents, but cannot access the contents. (If they click, "Error starting activity" appears)

The Supervisor can access and regularly download reports.

  • Start:

    • The Suspended Company state is manually activated.

  • End:

    • The Suspended Company state is manually deactivated.
